Most analytics platforms require you to send your data somewhere else.
SaaS analytics platforms — Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot — process your data on their infrastructure. For enterprises with data governance requirements, HIPAA compliance, or simply a strong preference for knowing where their data lives, this is a non-starter. Cloud BI that requires data egress creates compliance risk, latency, and cost.
Everything runs inside your Azure subscription.
IntelliFabric is deployed as a set of Microsoft Fabric artifacts in your existing Azure tenant — not as a SaaS connection to ours. OneLake stores your data. Fabric Data Factory runs your pipelines. Power BI Premium serves your dashboards. Folio3's IP is in the configuration and logic, not in a server your data has to reach.
From connection to insight in four steps.
Fabric workspace provisioned in your tenant
A dedicated Fabric workspace is provisioned in your Azure subscription. Your IT team grants the deployment team the necessary permissions. All Fabric artifacts are deployed here — pipelines, Lakehouse, semantic model, reports.
OneLake as unified data storage
All source data lands in OneLake — Fabric's unified storage layer built on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. One storage location for all data, with Fabric's compute workloads reading from it directly.
Direct Lake semantic model
The Power BI semantic model is configured in Direct Lake mode — reading directly from OneLake Delta tables without importing data into Power BI's cache. This eliminates refresh latency and dataset size limits.
Your IT team takes ownership
At go-live, your IT team has full admin access to the Fabric workspace. Folio3 provides a documented runbook, pipeline monitoring dashboard, and optional managed services. You own the platform — we support it.
